    1. We are proposing a permissive path through the development for both pedestrians and cyclists. Are you in support of this?
      YesNo

    2. To enhance road safety, we are proposing closing the existing entrances and creating a more visible entrance to the seminary which may assist in reducing the speed of traffic approaching the site. Are you in support of this?
      YesNo

    3. Having listened to the local community we have drastically lowered the number of units to 52. Do you feel this action is appropriate in order to create a lower impact development?
      YesNo

    4. Do you support the proposed architecture of the scheme?
      YesNo

    5. Other than the formal gardens, we have kept the landscaping as natural as possible as we believe this is in keeping with the surrounding countryside. Are you happy with our landscape proposals?
      YesNo

    6. We are proposing the following, which we hope will benefit the community as a whole and conserve the seminary’s heritage:

      • A permissive foot and cycle path through the site

      • A children’s wild play area adjacent to the permissive path

      • A new bus stop at the front of the development

      • A new entrance which will increase road safety

      • Road safety enhancements in the village of Wonersh

      Do you welcome these enhancements?

      YesNoI’m ambivalent

    7. We are proposing a new bus stop at the front of the Seminary. This will be constructed at our expense to encourage new residents and neighbours to use the bus service more often, and in a safer and more convenient fashion.

How important is this to you?

      VitalImportantI’m ambivalentNot important

    8. We have instructed our ecology and environmental consultants to help us achieve a biodiversity net gain, enhancing any existing ecosystems.
In addition to this, the new building extension will have an energy rating of A, and the majority of homes in the conversion will have an energy rating of B, which makes them some of the best performing homes of this kind in the country.

How important is this to you?

      VitalImportantI’m ambivalentNot important

    9. Broadly speaking are you happy to support the development as proposed?
      YesNo

    10. Let us know what you think, and if there are any aspects of our proposals which you particularly like or dislike?

    11. During our public consultation, villagers in Wonersh mentioned that they would appreciate assistance in improving road safety within the village. Consequently, we retained, at our expense, one of the country’s leading traffic and road safety consultants. Following extensive consultation with villagers who raised the issues, and the county’s Highways Authority, together with road safety auditors, we would like your opinion on two possible solutions.

      Option A

      The introduction of:
      - 4 formal parking spaces directly outside the post office.
      - A pedestrian crossing to assist pedestrians crossing the main road in the village close to the Pepper Pot.

It has also been mentioned to us by villagers that, at some point in the future, double yellow lines will be put around the Pepper Pot which would affect available parking.

If this does occur, then the 4 formal parking spaces outside the post office would help to address this by providing more parking.

Taking all things into account, this has proved to be the most acceptable location for a crossing which provides for the maximum amount of parking.

      Option B

Option B would leave the Pepper Pot and the current parking arrangements as they are. However, road markings and dropped kerbs would be installed, which would have a positive impact on road safety and aid pedestrians with mobility issues or pushchairs when crossing the road.

Please let us know your thoughts about these two options:

    12. Please let us know if you have any comments about option A or B and if you are in support of both options, let us know if you have a preference:

Finally would you like to be kept updated on the progress of the St John's Seminary Development.
